John Peart
John studied actuarial science and brings more than 25 years of consulting experience within the insurance industry. He has been instrumental in designing, developing, and implementing compensation solutions across a wide range of carriers.
John led the development of the Southern Farm Bureau replacement system and served as project lead for the EIM 5.2 initiative at RBC Group. His expertise also extends to strategic consulting engagements with major insurers such as The Co‑operators, where he contributed to the modernization of critical business systems.
His deep understanding of insurance compensation requirements and industry dynamics informs every aspect of eComp, as well as our ongoing support for the FASAT and EIM platforms.
Steve McCrea
Steve brings more than 25 years of specialized expertise in insurance financial processing, compensation systems, large‑scale performance tuning, and modern cloud development.
As a key architect on the EIM load balancing project at RBC Insurance, one of Steve’s core achievements was optimizing eComp’s financial processing engine, driving throughput to 7.4 million transactions per hour. Continued enhancements are already underway to push performance even further.
His technical background spans major cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and IBM Bluemix, with a proven track record delivering enterprise‑grade web and mobile solutions. Steve’s leadership ensures that eComp and our legacy system support maintain exceptional standards of reliability, scalability, and performance.
